  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 2 Tablespoon cake flour
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 3 Tablespoons unsalted butter (melted and cooled)
  • 2 1/2 Tablespoon milk

Instructions

  1. Cream together room temperature butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until fluffy. Add eggs and vanilla; mix until combined.
  2. In another bowl, whisk cake flour, cornstarch, baking soda, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add to wet ingredients until combined.
  3. Chill the dough for at least one hour.
  4. Preheat oven to 350°F. Prepare the filling by mixing softened butter, brown sugar, cinnamon, and cake flour until smooth.
  5. Form cookie dough balls; place filling in the center and seal tightly.
  6. Bake for 11–13 minutes until golden around edges; cool on wire rack.
