- 3–4 lbs Beef Chuck Roast
- 1 cup Low-Sodium Chicken Broth
- 1 packet (1 oz) Ranch Dressing Mix
- 1 packet (0.87 oz) Au Jus Gravy Mix
- 1/2 cup Sliced Banana Peppers (jarred)
- 4 cloves Fresh Garlic, minced
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 300°F (150°C). Pat dry the beef chuck roast and season generously with salt and pepper.
- In a skillet over medium-high heat, sear the roast on all sides until browned, about 4 minutes per side.
- In a bowl, whisk together ranch dressing mix, au jus gravy mix, and chicken broth until smooth.
- Place the seared roast in a roasting pan or Dutch oven. Pour the sauce mixture over the roast and scatter banana peppers and minced garlic around it.
- Cover tightly with foil or lid and slow cook in the oven for about 4 hours until fork-tender.
- Let rest for 10 minutes before slicing. Serve with your choice of sides.
