  • 1 lb beef sirloin, thinly sliced
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 inch ginger, grated
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 head broccoli, cut into florets
  • 2 cups cooked rice
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare all ingredients by slicing the beef and chopping the vegetables.
  2. Heat olive oil in a wok over medium-high heat. Stir-fry beef until browned (3-5 minutes), then set aside.
  3. In the same wok, sauté onion until softened (3-4 minutes), then add garlic and ginger for another minute.
  4. Add red bell pepper and broccoli; stir-fry for 5-7 minutes until just tender.
  5. Whisk together sauce ingredients in a bowl and pour over beef and veggies in the wok. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until thickened.
  6. Serve over cooked rice and garnish as desired.
