Ingredients
- 4 chicken drumsticks (bone-in)
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 ½ cups rice (uncooked)
- 1 ½ cups chicken stock
- 1 ¼ cups water
- 2 tablespoons butter (cut into pieces)
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon onion powder
- ¾ teaspoon salt
- Black pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F.
- Spread chopped onions evenly in a baking dish and scatter butter pieces on top. Bake for 15 minutes until onions start to brown.
- Mix dried thyme, garlic powder, paprika, onion powder, salt, and black pepper in a bowl. Coat the chicken drumsticks with this rub.
