  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 10 oz canned diced tomatoes with green chilies, drained
  • 15 oz canned refried beans
  • 2 teaspoons chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 cups cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup green onions, chopped for garnish
  • Tortilla chips, for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a baking dish if desired.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef. Add the diced onion and minced garlic; sauté until softened. Drain excess grease.
  3. Lower the heat and stir in cream cheese and sour cream until smooth.
  4. Mix in drained diced tomatoes, refried beans, chili powder, cumin, salt, and black pepper until combined.
  5. Transfer the mixture to a prepared baking dish and top with shredded cheddar cheese. Bake for 20–25 minutes or until bubbly.
