  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup panko bread crumbs
  • 1 large egg, lightly beaten
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon sriracha or more, to taste
  • 1 teaspoon rice vinegar
  • Sesame seeds (optional)
  • Chopped green onions (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, onion, garlic, gochujang, soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, ginger, and black pepper. Mix gently until combined.
  2. Stir in panko bread crumbs and beaten egg until evenly distributed.
  3. Roll the mixture into 1-inch meatballs.
  4. Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook meatballs for about 8-10 minutes until browned and cooked through (internal temperature should reach 160°F).
  5. For the spicy mayo sauce, whisk together mayonnaise, sriracha, and rice vinegar in a small bowl.
  6. Serve meatballs warm with spicy mayo drizzled on top.
