Description

Oreo truffles are a luscious no-bake dessert that encapsulates the classic flavor of Oreo cookies blended with cream cheese, all enveloped in a silky chocolate coating. These bite-sized delights are perfect for celebrations or casual gatherings and can be prepared in just 15 minutes. With their irresistible taste and easy preparation, these truffles will have everyone coming back for seconds!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 36 Oreo cookies (crushed)
  • 8 oz cream cheese (softened)
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 tsp vegetable oil
  • ¼ cup crushed Oreos (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Crush the Oreo cookies into fine crumbs using a food processor or by placing them in a zip-lock bag and smashing with a rolling pin.
  2. In a large bowl, mix the crushed Oreos and softened cream cheese until well combined.
  3. Roll the mixture into small balls (about 1 tablespoon each) and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  4. Melt the chocolate chips with vegetable oil in the microwave until smooth, stirring every 30 seconds to prevent burning.
  5. Dip each Oreo ball into the melted chocolate, letting excess drip off, then return them to the baking sheet.
  6. Sprinkle crushed Oreos on top while still wet and refrigerate for about an hour until set.
