  • 6 cups stale French or brioche bread, torn into pieces
  • 2 cups whole milk
  • 4 large eggs
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup raisins or cranberries (optional)

Instructions
