  • 8 oz cream cheese (at room temperature)
  • ¼ cup granulated white sugar (for cheesecake layer)
  • 1 large egg (for cheesecake layer)
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract (for cheesecake layer)
  • Orange food coloring

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F and line an 8×8 baking dish with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine sugar, flour, cocoa powder, salt, and baking powder. Add eggs, vegetable oil, and vanilla; mix until smooth.
  3. In another bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth. Mix in sugar, egg, vanilla extract, and orange food coloring until well combined.
  4. Pour half the brownie batter into the prepared dish. Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over it, then drop spoonfuls of the remaining brownie batter on top. Use a knife to swirl together gently.
