  • 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese

  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt (to taste)
  • 1/4 cup croutons (homemade or store-bought)

Instructions

  1. Peel the cucumber and slice it thinly (about 1/8 inch thick). Pat dry with paper towels.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, lemon juice, Dijon mustard, and Worcestershire sauce until smooth.
  3. Stir in minced garlic and grated Parmesan cheese; season with black pepper and salt. Adjust seasoning if needed.
  4. In a large bowl, gently toss sliced cucumber with the dressing until evenly coated.
  5. Just before serving, add croutons to the salad mixture and toss gently.
  6. Serve immediately garnished with extra Parmesan cheese and freshly ground black pepper.
