  • 1 cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese
  • ½ cup Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
  • ½ cup All-Purpose Flour
  • 1 Large Egg
  • ¼ cup Breadcrumbs
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • ½ teaspoon Onion Powder
  • ½ teaspoon Paprika
  • ¼ teaspoon Salt
  • ⅛ teaspoon Black Pepper
  • Vegetable Oil or Canola Oil (for frying)

Instructions

  1. If using canned corn, drain it well; if frozen, thaw and pat dry.
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk the egg before adding flour, cheeses, breadcrumbs, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  3. Fold in the prepared corn until evenly mixed.
  4. Form small balls or discs from the mixture.
  5. Heat oil in a frying pan over medium-high heat (350-375°F).
  6. Fry each bite for about 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown.
