  • 3 tbsp butter, softened (plus more for cooking)
  • ¼ cup light brown sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 2 eggs
  • 3 tbsp milk
  • 3 tbsp granulated sugar (for coating)
  • 1 tsp cinnamon (for coating)

Instructions

  1. Flatten each slice of bread using a rolling pin.
  2. In a small bowl, mix softened butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon. Spread this mixture on each slice.
  3. Roll each slice tightly into a log.
  4. Whisk eggs and milk in another bowl to create the egg mixture.
  5. Heat a nonstick skillet over medium heat with a little butter. Dip each roll-up into the egg mixture and place in the skillet.
  6. Cook roll-ups for 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown and crispy.
  7. Roll warm roll-ups in granulated sugar mixed with cinnamon for an extra sweet finish.
