  • 1/2 cup + a little extra turbinado sugar (can sub granulated sugar)
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/3 cup whole milk (can sub dairy free milk)
  • 1.5 cups all purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar for glaze
  • 12 tsp whole milk for glaze

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Dice the peaches.
  2. In a mixing bowl, beat softened butter and turbinado sugar until creamy. Add eggs one at a time, then stir in whole milk and vanilla.
  3. Fold in diced peaches gently.
  4. Sift together flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt; combine with wet ingredients without overmixing.
  5. Pour batter into a greased 9×5 loaf pan; sprinkle extra sugar on top.
  6. Bake for 50-55 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  7. Allow cooling briefly before glazing with powdered sugar mixed with milk.
