  • 6 day-old croissants
  • 1 cup chocolate hazelnut spread
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup whole milk (or almond milk)
  • 1 tbsp vanilla extract
  • ½ tsp ground cinnamon
  • ½ cup chopped hazelnuts (lightly toasted)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a baking dish.
  2. Tear croissants into bite-sized pieces and layer half in the baking dish.
  3. In a bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, vanilla extract, and cinnamon until smooth.
  4. Pour half of the custard mixture over the croissant layer, then drizzle half of the chocolate hazelnut spread and sprinkle half of the chopped hazelnuts on top.
  5. Repeat layering with remaining croissants, custard mixture, chocolate spread, and hazelnuts.
  6. Bake for 30–35 minutes until golden brown and set in the center.
  7. Allow to cool slightly before serving warm.
